Exciting things
This new year has started with a lot of exciting things. Joensuu will go into the studio again in April. We have already started to make a rough version of the new EP which will contain 5 epic songs. I am also recording a lot of music personally. I will make the soundtrack for 5 short cartoons made by children from Rotterdam under the supervision of my friend Anick Halier, who is a contemporary artist. I am also working hard on my own acoustic songs, finally trying to put them down on tape. Other than that, I am very much focussed on shaping my view on psychotherapy. I notice in my work that the human potential reaches so much further than the current paradigma suggests, we are only at the beginning of exploring the possibilities of the humand mind and that’s something I would very much like to contribute to. Also, I will most likely publish my first article this year, but more about that soon. Here’s an up-to-date playlist, have fun!

The year is ending
Joensuu is practicing hard and we have a few new songs that we’re gonna play at EXIT Rotterdam on the 7th of january 2010. It’s free of charge so be very welcome to join the party. I am still working on a lot of other stuff, but both laziness and professional work take alot of my time, so it’s all a long term process. I entered the CNN youtube Copenhagen debate contest with a question concerning environmental issues and I won! They aired my question worldwide during the debate and it got answered by, amongst others, Daryl Hannah (from Kill Bill). Anyway, you can check it out here, I am the first video:

Hi there! Welcome to the new and improved bjarnetimonen.com. The content of the website will be the same as the old one, but then highly digitalized, making it more easy for me to update it and more easy for you to interact. These coming days I will put up a selection of older entries in the words section as well as new and fresh entries containing my mind’s bubbles. On the musical front there’s lots of stuff going on. Joensuu is preparing itself for yet another recording session for 4/5 songs, stay tuned for that. Besides that I am recording a lot of solo material, including a cover of Bjork’s Unravel. I will soon put new material on my myspace, which will also undergo a make-over. I will keep shooting new music this upcoming year! For now, you’ll have to make do with a brandnew playlist:
